A garment advertising animation using Clo3D and Houdini.
The garment is designed, textured and UVed in Clo3D using Substance Materials.
The avatar is animated in Houdini mixing 2 mixamo movements.
I found the Clo3D animation to be ok for quick rendering, but not powerful enough to accommodate different parts such as elastics and semi-rigid parts (such as the visor).
My workflow is thus to export everything to Houdini were I can build all the rigs and animation I want, add effects such as rain and render with Redshift.
The addition of rain effects is extremely relevant since the purpose is to demonstrate the waterproof capabilities of the vest.
