Bois de Cerfs

A procedural modeling, shading, texturing and rendering study in Houdini and Redshift.

This is not as trivial as one may think; I discovered the devil in the details!
The color of the fur is derived from a polypainting pass I created in Zbrush.
Also, there are dozens of undocumented issues with implementing Houdini 19.5 native Hair system and Redshift 3.0. (Solved here after many hours of investigations in the forums and trial and error).
