Expresso with Crema animation

Photorealistic expresso animation with crema (extract from a 2-mins full CG short film I have created for a brand client).
Custom dev using Houdini flip fluid with multiple viscosities and a sop solver to animate mixing and dissolution.
Full-process, from photographing textures to rendering, including CAD modeling, fluid UVs and texturing, shader dev, lighting, volumetric color gradients, and FX.
